ZOOM CALL WITH BROADWAY LEAGUE in NYC!

Please mark you calendars for June 7th at 5pm.  The Builders Club will be participating in a Zoom call with the Broadway League in New York.  

The call will have 3-4 speakers direct from Broadway. All of the speakers have a variety of jobs that are associated with putting on a Broadway Show. The speakers will be talking about their specific jobs, duties and the path they took to Broadway.

Anyone can join in on the Zoom call. In fact, if you have friends or families members who would like to join, they are invited also!  The call will be on Zoom, however when you log in, only the speakers will be visible.  There will be a Q and A button where you can ask the panel questions.   The call will last approximately 30-45 minutes.

The Builder's Club invites you to its Neighborhood Pets Service Project! We will be building toys for pets this Thursday, June 10th, 10am-12pm! ALL ARE WELCOME TO HELP OUT!!!

Where: Simms Park, 23131 Lakeshore Blvd, Euclid, OH 44123

What to bring: large old T-shirts if you have them (to make toys). a chair, and your lunch (lunch will happen after we make the pet toys).

We will be near the pavilion by the lake. Please bring any donations you have collected to this event. We ask that you found 5 people to donate $3 to the cause. All money raised will go to Neighborhood Pets to purchase dog food, cat food and cat litter.

UpStage welcomes Amanda Zmecek, a graphic design student at Walsh University, as an intern to oversee the design of the program book for the spring 2023 production of Matilda Jr.  

Amanda graduates this May with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and two minors in Communication and Art. After graduation, she hopes to land a graphic design/marketing position close to home. Amanda is from Parma, Ohio.

“There are so many possibilities with the degree,” Amanda said. “I am also hoping to get back into acting at a local theater since I have missed that at college. Overall, I'm excited to spread joy in my life through the arts.”
